Who has/can gain access to the data from En-Gage?

Data entered into En-Gage is stored on a cloud-hosted server and can be accessed from the app or through the server.
Information accessed through the App:
- Public channels are searchable by anyone using En-Gage
- Private Groups/Rooms are only visible by members invited to the group/room
- Direct messages are only visible between the two users
Information on the Server
Only En-Gage developers and owners have access to the servers. All developers with access have had appropriate background checks and been cleared by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. En-Gage developers or owners will only access end-user data on the server upon written request from an authorized department representative.
Audit of Data from En-Gage
Your administration has access to audit tools from within En-Gage. Audit reports will have 3 types of Audits: Random | Scheduled | Private
- Random – Basic inquires, All parties involved will be notified IE: Media Request
- Scheduled – Per policy or Standard Operating Procedures IE: every 90 days for performance reasons, All Parties will be notified of the audit.
- Private – Criminal investigations, Search Warrants, or Internal Investigations, Parties will not be notified.
Note: Notifications will be sent via a pop-up message from the system to the users that are included in the audit and Include: “The en-gage Platform has run a Random Audit and your data was included. Audit was ran by: H. Mckenzie on 04-10-2021 at 0100 for Media Request” when you get the popup to close it, you will need to click the button that states: Acknowledge Audit
